voxifit HIIT Bodyweight Workout 001

If you love High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), then you will love this workout. Its a full body, body-weight workout, that’s guaranteed to get you sweating and boost your metabolism for hours after.

Before we get started, i suggest you use some sort of timer when doing HIIT workouts. Trust me it will be a lot easier. I love the gymboss, or there are plenty of Apple and Android apps available for download, such as:

The Workout

Warm Up

Always do a proper warm up before doing any HIIT training. Here is one for you to do:

  • Jumping Jacks 30 Reps
  • Bodyweight Squats 10 Reps
  • Pushups 10 Reps
  • Alt Lunges 10 Reps
  • Planks 30 sec
  • REST 30 sec
  • Repeat 1 more time for a total of 2 sets

Main Workout

Okie dokey, you should now be warmed up and ready to HIIT IT .

Here it is.

Set your timer to 20 rounds of 30 / 50 seconds. Do as many reps as possible in the given time. Do not rest between exercises. You will rest at the end of the circuit for 50 seconds. Repeat the full circuit 4 times.

The Exercises:

  • High Knees – 30 Sec
  • Prisoner Squats – 50 Sec
  • Pushups – 30 Sec
  • Prisoner Squats – 50 Sec
  • Incl. Pushups – 30 Sec
  • Alt. Lunges – 50 Sec
  • Decline Pushups – 30 Sec
  • Alt. Lunges – 50 Sec
  • T-Pushups – 30 Sec ( See Vid below on how to perform the T-Pushup)
  • REST – 50 Sec
  • Repeat circuit 3 more times for a total of 4 sets.
