You need to accept that failure is a part of life. If you have failed at something then you need to accept it and move on, at least you tried in the first place. You are not the only person who has ever failed at something. It happens to all of us.

Learning to change your thoughts is going to take time and practice. It will not be something that you can change overnight. Being aware is definitely the first step and at first you might have to keep reminding yourself, but eventually, it will become your new habit and you will not have to think about it anymore.
